I can be a bit harsh in my parodies at times, but the characters in my employ are nicer than they could have been. Hope my site gives you lots of reasons to smile.
Here I have copied my Turnabout parodies
category, and included bad examples, which can be traced to mistakes I and my readers made.
Because the bad parodies do not actually appear on my site, the links on their titles instead lead to the original songs, so you can easily find out just how much those songs would have suffered from this kind of parody. They are distinguished from the good parodies because their titles are struck out and bold, and have notes underneath them.
As if this is an improvement over a holiday.
Yes, I am not inclined to keep true love.
But let us not go somewhere that would strip everything nice out of the song.
Hate you very muchhere]
I did this sort of thing twice before seeing the error of my ways, and when I set about correcting it, my readers expected me to do the same old thing again.
Nobody wants to read about you trying to make something die!
Trust me: Taking a tune which was written to acknowledge that someone is looking sorry and going nowhere, and using it for name-calling, is not a funny flip-over.
