I can be a bit harsh in my parodies at times, but the characters in my employ are nicer than they could have been. Hope my site gives you lots of reasons to smile.

Bad and good examples of turnabout parodying

Here I have copied my Turnabout parodies category, and included bad examples, which can be traced to mistakes I and my readers made.

Because the bad parodies do not actually appear on my site, the links on their titles instead lead to the original songs, so you can easily find out just how much those songs would have suffered from this kind of parody. They are distinguished from the good parodies because their titles are struck out and bold, and have notes underneath them.

Trust me: Taking a tune which was written to acknowledge that someone is looking sorry and going nowhere, and using it for name-calling, is not a funny flip-over.
