I have quite a few Pat Benatar albums, and they are fairly straightforward rock, the kind that is generally workable. But then there is what you want to do with the songs. My reason for going for the 2-disc compilation was to have a good number of songs I could use well, for the works of this artist are hit and miss on my fodder ratings. Even on this album, many of the songs I know do not appear here. I Need A Lover, Love Is A Battlefield, and Le Bel Age did not sound like quite my kind of relationship, for example. Several songs simply had no particular hooks.
