Assessment of suitability for parodying
As this album is from after Styx had broken up and reformed, it is not part of the same progression that culminated in the daunting Paradise Theater and Kilroy Was Here, and is therefore not as difficult. However, his also means that it is not as simple as Styx songs from the 1970s were, having lyrics somewhat more complicated in themselves. Also of note is that a trend Styx had in their original run of albums was that most of the songs had a long instrumental section in the middle. That trend is less prevalent in this album, which means more words to memorize.
