Assessment of suitability for parodying

The more basic and conventional an album is, the easier it is likely to prove to be, and you cannot get much more basic or conventional than this. Even just looking at the track listing, you can see hints that this will not be too difficult. None of the songs has a word with more than two syllables in its name, and the titles are dominated by monosyllabic words. Also, the longest song is only 4 and a half minutes, and most of them are much shorter.

Indeed, going about parodying this album poses few problems. Understanding the topics and rhyming the words is mostly straightforward. The songs generally only have two or three verses worth of words to memorize, are mostly about being in one kind of bad relationship or another, and four of them use no polysyllabic words at all. Even Styx II seems odd and complicated after this album.
