Assessment of suitability for parodying

This is one of the least conventional albums I own. It tells a story when taken altogether, complete with three different characters who sing different songs. A lot of words are crammed into some of the songs, and words, phrases, and subjects one would not find in ordinary music abound. That can mean opportunities, but for experts only. I took unusual measures, including making an exception to my usual rule against establishment of who exactly is singing a parody, to be able to work with this one.

The parodies

Mr. Roboto . . . Mr. Sparrow
Cold War . . . Old War/Personal War
Don’t Let It End . . . Don’t Make Me End
High Time . . . My Time
Heavy Metal Poisoning . . . Tentacle Poisoning
Just Get Through This Night . . . Just Get to Reasons Why
Double Life . . . Ugly Life
Haven’t We Been Here Before . . . Hasn’t He Been Killed Before
Don’t Let It End (Reprise) . . . Don’t Make Me End (Reprise)
