Working Class Dog
Artist: Rick Springfield
Year: 1981
Average fodder rating (out of 5): 4
Difficulty: Easy
This was an early work by its artist, and consequently featured fairly simple songs. While by no means as repetitive as the songs from the later Rick Springfield album Tao tended to be, these songs still do not tend to have a lot of words, although they do have enough for each to tell a story. Also, fortunately for my Pirates of the Caribbean-themed setting for parodies, the lyrics were mostly time neutral, although the plane in The Light of Love and the driving wheel in Everybody’s Girl made things a little more difficult.
