My site is of a reasonably appropriate nature in general terms, at least in that it is devoid of explicit content (although it does assume you are old enough to know what that means). However, it is not written specifically with children in mind, instead being aimed at people old enough to watch the Pirates of the Caribbean movies, and one should be aware that not everything on the site is exactly innocuous. If you hope Heart-Cutter is going to be a parody about making Valentine’s Day cards, I suggest that from now on, you only visit my site if someone specifically recommends a page to you.
Also, although I always keep it clean, this can’t always also be said for the artists I parody. At best, parental guidance is suggested when checking those songs out. At worst, there’s Green Day, an act decidedly for adults only. I realize that combining their work with a Disney franchise may not fly with you, given the notably different levels of appropriateness (although Pirates is generally aimed at an older audience then many other works of Disney). However, I would like to point out that I don’t parody Green Day indiscriminately. Only half (rounded up) of the albums I have by them appear on the site, one of which is notable for being their cleanest recording, and even from Dookie I only did half the track count, chosen from the mostly clean middle of the album. I only deemed a few songs each off of Insomniac and Nimrod worthy of my time and did not end up parodying anything off of 21st Century Breakdown. So at least the number of explicit songs appearing on my site is much smaller than it could have been.
If you encounter problematic material when doing research inspired by what you read on my site, I cannot be held responsible for what happens to you.
Correct information is the only kind I ever intended to share with the world, and I pride myself on stopping the spread of lies or mistakes any time I know I can (as you can see from the footnotes in some of the sections on this page and this page). However, it is always possible that either the sources I refer to or my own memory is at fault.
