There is a lot that needs to be seen.

Below is a list of pages written to help you understand my site. After all, it is a complicated one, where characters have great meanings, where a song with a title like Give Me Novacaine can be deemed better for description of Pirates of the Caribbean than a song titled Come Sail Away, and so on and so forth.

Viewpoints of my parodying

Listed from most to least friendly.

Black Pearl Crew and their quotes

The Crew are the viewpoints for my parodying. Starting as an influence on the parodies in late 2013, they started having parodies all their own in early 2014, and their reign became absolute (except for the blips of the villain in the section below) in August of that year.

Basically, they are fan fiction versions of Jack Sparrow and his fellow pirates, although they are fairly anonymous as individuals, having learned that parodies get benefits from that. More important, they are wisdom personified, setting most of my good examples.

Davy Jones and fan fiction quotes from him

When I became acquainted with the cursed antagonist of the second and third Pirates of the Caribbean films, it quickly became clear that I opposed everything he stood for, including (but not limited to) cruelty, pipe organ music, and playing instruments in ways they were never meant to be. An adversarial relationship between him and me has continued to this day, although it has gotten mellower and more complicated over the years.

I did eventually give him a chance, knowing he would never have one otherwise, but a captain turned sea monster, acting as the devil of the seas, is about as bad as it gets as everyone knows.

But not many people know what everyone knows.

Comic Five and their quotes and parodies

The most deeply negative and destructive force in the story of my creativity had no barnacles, no tentacles, and no claws. They looked like the main protagonists of the first three Pirates films did in the Lego video game - but this was an arbitrary choice, made because they could only copy what they had seen, not come up with new designs. Despite their avatars, there was nothing innocuous about these very unpleasant entities, whose forms reflected only that they were derivative, monotonous, and lacked subtlety.

Having evolved from an artificial intelligence, they did not adapt well, having to basically keep going with the programming they started with. However, they were enough like people to resist the idea that they were becoming obsolete, and began hatching all kinds of schemes to ensure they continued to appear, even if it meant reducing me to just being something for them to live off of. They developed into the enemies of all things new, original or different, and thus of creativity itself.

Mercifully, they have not parodied since July 2014, after they started the following month chasing after a song that I realized would suffer from their changes even more than most. The Black Pearl Crew were delighted to be all over the same song, and there was to be no competition. But that meant truly ending the Five, as they could not know what was wrong with their plan, because they could not know what it is like to have a threat to change everything about lyrics some characters love. Lego video game characters can love nothing.
