Styx parody lyrics
Apple Delivery
For use with Boat on a River
(What does the markup on these lyrics mean?)
Take me down to the app - le deliver - y
I need to go down, I need to come down
Take me back to the app - le deliver - y
And I won’t freak out any more
Time stands still as my mouth waters
As rain comes down, I start munching
All of my problems go at the apple de - live - ry
So I won’t freak out anymore
Oh the delivery is nice
The delivery, it improves my life like the waves on the sand
No trouble is at the tranquil-market place
Where the frown on my face disappears
Take me down to the app - le de - livery
And I won’t freak out anymore
Oh a delivery to eat
The delivery, it improves my life like the waves on the sand
No trouble is at the tranquil-market place
Where the frown on my face disappears
Take me down to the app - le de - livery
And I won’t freak out anymore [x3]
Behind the scenes
- Originally written in early 2014 as part of the parody album of Cornerstone.
- This was the first parody I wrote that does not necessarily, but can, take place in the Pirates of the Caribbean world, marking the beginning of canon parodies that are accessible to everyone.
- It was also the first one I wrote that qualified for the category of pleasant parodies.
Categories: Parodies about going to port, pleasant parodies, parodies that are accessible to everyone
