Styx parody lyrics
Blighted
For use with Light Up
(What does the markup on these lyrics mean?)
(We are) blight - ed, everybody
Join us, not this abomination
Blight - ed and un - happy
A certain organ can not be blasting
Any day’s a holiday with no thing from brine
The music’s real-this time with no tentacles
If we’re here, and so are blights
The weather might be-fine
But we may lose our limes, lose-our limes
All I need is just one ship to get me by
With just one broadside he is halfway fried
Behind the scenes
- The first version of this parody was written in July 2014 as part of the parody album of Equinox.
- This parody has been tweaked, as it was originally about killing and used a fan nickname for the enemy.
