Styx parody lyrics
Davy
For use with Lady (But in a harsher way than most of my parodies!)
(What does the markup on these lyrics mean?)
Davy, can’t be with ye and smiling
Icky, oh oh, and dumb
You mad keeper of where we are sinking
Just see (you) and an enemy is made
Davy, ever since I first saw you
Growing tentacle hair
You gave all the disgust I could feel
Oh my, what ridiculous - ness I am shown
You will die, Davy, mistake of Disney
Why did you not die?
All you do: disgust-me
You die, Davy
Davy, you fail to chill my bones
Show me where (is) your heart
Your-face playing organ is just noise-to me
Spare me seeing your crab arm
You die, Davy, mistake of Disney
Why did you not die
When-your heart went out-sliced
Oh so crazy
Crazy mistake of Disney
Here why, with heart sliced
Hand-the key to it-to-me
And die, Davy
Behind the scenes
- Originally written as a single sometime in late 2013, when Lady was all I had from Styx II. Later that year, it got to be part of a by and large parody of that album.
- Its being earlier explains its more hostile tone, but my in-person readers found it hilarious, so, well, here it is, good enough for some, at least.
