Sail our ship to sea
Leave behind the trading company
The skull and crossbones flew
Above the ocean blue
Tis so obvious we’re a pirate’s crew
The ships we sought to take
Were of the Spanish Main
But getting there proved-too-big a pain
And though you rob and kill to find your dream
Your crimes have hardly set you free
Tortuga held the treasure of a thousand kings
No way-one ship could steal everything
Two hundred men stood guard
Maybe twas not-the best
Idea to break in to their chest
And when the smoke had cleared
And bloody bodies lay
Everyone saw they had best-get away
We best go-on water
I now-think the-best prize
That I can dream of is being alive
