Behind the scenes
- The first version of this parody was written in July 2014 as part of the parody album of Equinox.
- However, like many of the parodies I wrote in the first seven months of that year, it was edited in June 2017, for a number of reasons. First was to get rid of a fan made name for a character. Second, because the original was written under the influence of characters who were known to pretend the Royal Navy did not exist, the King and his horses and men were not worked with, instead being replaced with weird lines about how not even seahorses would want Davy around. Also, it insulted by saying the heroes would always win, and that the enemy was fortunately weak enough to be more likely to be captured than escape.
