Styx parody lyrics

The Pearl Will Sail In

For use with Earl of Roseland

(What does the markup on these lyrics mean?)

Stand on the Tortugan dock
Waiting for the Black Pearl ride
Me and Davy staying apart
This is my break from the fight
On-an island with the human touch
Tis a buccaneer island
Pirate ships start to gather round
As we see from the sand
Black-Pearl leaves the island soon
We have rum one more time
In the streets
the people go-for it
Below the local-tavern sign
It is the type we pirates are
Walk back past the pigs
Then the pirates have to save-eyes
From sea monsters that can make one sick

Yo, the Pearl will sail-in

This is a fact
Cut out-your heart and
You’re just a bit of the past, aaaaa!

Me and Davy gazing and
Seeing the-polar opposites we are
How I scoff at the idea that he
Should make me feel-fear
Turn him to calamari with a torch
Tentacles around his lick
For rea - sons I don’t even know
But-tis-a curse-that-makes me sick
Aye aye aye aye aye aye
