Styx parody lyrics
Worst Time
For use with First Time
(What does the markup on these lyrics mean?)
Da - vy Jones was in love
She said no
Which led to harm
Cut his heart out over miss - ing embrace
And ended up with a squid face
He does not get-it-made
Now any one might be afraid
Of the feelings in their heart
I shield my eyes
He lost his mind
And human - ity falling in love that worst time
Don’t want to study love
It (was) the worst time
The worst time for love
There came Disney’s so many words
But no-sense in my mind
Better dodge the disgust - ing sight, aye aye!
The two of them were a night - mare
On going life imp - ossibl - y spared
Don’t be the like, tis not okay
For anyone to-be that way
I don’t want to know any more
Just get protection for my eyes
Matey, not right to do
Tis not right to see
I don’t want to know any more
Just get protection for my sight
It is no good to do
Tis no good to see
Behind the scenes
- The first draft of this parody appeared in a comic strip I wrote in early 2014.
- However, like many of the parodies I wrote in the first seven months of that year, it needed editing to suit the current canon. In this case, there were insults (
Two weirdos were in love,
Disney sure had dumb, nonsense ideas this time
) and a sentiment that Davy needed to die.
