Assessment of suitability for parodying

General

Very simply, the song is a message to brighten up in terms of mood, with no context to speak of. It is the kind of song that has nothing particularly right or wrong with it.

Black Pearl crew-specific

I have to call this good-not-great fodder despite the excellent job I did with it, and the reason is that the lyrics have no room for improvement in my opinion. Therefore, the only to ensure the parody was not detrimental to the song was to make it just as uplifting as the original song. That, and it is so broadly applicable, lacking any hooks to pull it up to 4.
