Assessment of suitability for parodying

General

The first thing you need to know is not to be daunted by the fact that the song is unusually long. It consists mostly of long instrumental sections, so despite being twice the length of its compatriots, it is no more wordy. Still, I would have to say this is not a normal song at all. Only niche appeal put it on my top.

Black Pearl crew-specific

Wow, this sounds just like Will Turner singing to his father. It speaks to some father about his sad state, likening his life to a ship stuck in a bottle, and that metaphor in turn leads it to say he will sail eternally. Plus those mind-boggling lyrics are delivered over a solo acoustic guitar that also sounds great for the ages-old pirate setting. One of the best if you ask the Crew.
