Assessment of suitability for parodying

General

I know, this song is clearly going to present difficulties. I am sure it is more than some of you can handle. However, despite what its title advertises, the song only uses a few polysyllabic words, and has a chorus and few other lyrics. As a result, it is one of the most conventional, and therefore easiest, songs on the album. Of course, that does not say a lot.

Black Pearl crew-specific

What the Crew love about this song is the pained, bittersweet sensations. For all we know, Give me a long kiss goodnight and everything will be all right may have been exactly what Davy Jones believed.

Behind the scenes

My first parody of this song was titled He’s My Existence’s Bane, but that was awkward.
