Assessment of suitability for parodying

General

This is the kind of song that is likely to be either 5 fodder or (in my case) 2. The obvious thing to do with it is, of course, Lord of the Rings. This makes it perfect if you want to sing about that, but the song is inherently difficult to make about anything else. I seldom put up with this degree of difficulty, but when I do, that is what makes the success of the resulting parody remarkable.

The Crew did this mainly to prove their ability to stay on topic and not go off into a world other than their own. I have long been pleased that my discovery of this song did not result in the Comic Five writing a parody about the LEGO Lord of the Rings video game.
