Not a lot of words here, but there are some tricky parts, notably the sentimental friend.
The dream of not dying a thousand times was something the Crew could make literal, as they do not wish to become one of those supernatural entities that will not stay gone. And that is good, because the rest of the chorus provides no particular payoff for their niche. They do like some other things about the song, being able to relate to having a lot against you and getting away from those things, and that they could take an uplifting, if not hilarious as much, angle on that, as there is friendship and hope in the song, but the sentimentality does not do much for them either.
