Assessment of suitability for parodying

General

At least a 2-fodder song, as the words are generally not too difficult, although there is a lot of them. What sets the song apart is that it is a duet, telling both sides of a story where a man and a woman voice their concerns about their relationship, both afraid of the other leaving. Fodder largely depends on whether that is something you can work with.

Black Pearl crew-specific

I had a troubled relationship of which to tell, and indeed the male side of the story got to stay quite similar, except at the beginning. Generally more useful than troubled. The male side of the story got to stay pretty similar. The female side, however, had to change much more - more or less into its opposite, in fact, as in the story I told, the feeling of needing the couple together was not mutual.
