This song may not generally be highly recommended for parodies, as it is already of a rather funny nature, with lyrics intentionally ill-suited to the pleasant music which is almost like that of a 1950s love song. I, however, show yet again that a niche can make all the difference.
The title of the song is exactly what Will Turner would do to Davy Jones. I therefore suspected I would be able to work with the song before I even heard it. It turned out just as I expected, plus it speaks of telling dirty lies everybody can see,
which seemed to describe the Dead Man’s Chest in my opinion.
