Assessment of suitability for parodying

General

There are not a lot of words here, and they can be hard to make out, but it definitely has something to do with a guy knowing he is not all right. The big question is probably how well the subject suits you, as you can see below.

Aeon’s End-specific

Took me a while to find the right universe for the song. I used to set all my songs in the Pirates of the Caribbean universe, and saw Stuck With Me as a 3-fodder song, not especially worth using. PotC characters are not typically associated with the realization of not being all right, meaning use of the song would probably be a loose use of the franchise, and if anything, could alter things to be more unpleasant.

But then, in the Aeon’s End universe, I met Xaxos. Someone who eventually came to realize his own flaws. Someone who could sing the song and not just be putting words in his mouth trying to get attention. So, here was my job for him: to identify songs which could have become horrifying and not even canonically accurate accounts of the lives of PotC characters, and rescue them.
